CFC® A-Series ST200 Stucco

CFC® ST200 Stucco

CFC A-Series Stucco is an acid resistant, low permeability, low density, spray or trowel applied single layer facade for use over wood, masonry, or cementitious elements as a cosmetic or protective layer. Stucco can be applied with various finish techniques using our colored, fire resistant ST200 Cold Fusion Concrete in both commercial and residential projects.

What is Cold Fusion Concrete (CFC®)?

Geopolymer Solutions, LLC (GPS) has developed Cold Fusion Concrete (CFC ®). CFC® is a normal weight and lightweight, single dry material concrete, for water mixing. CFC® is resistant to most natural and man-made reagents including chlorides, sulfates, and various concentrations of acids including sulfuric* (.01 to 98%), hydrochloric (.01 to 85%), phosphoric (.01 to 75%), acetic (.01 to 80%), and nitric (.01 to 75%). CFC complies with the ASTM C1157 Standard Performance Specification for Hydraulic Cement.

Features

    • Low shrinkage and low thermal coefficients allow for few to no expansion joints.
    • Cures quickly in warm/hot weather allowing rapid completion of projects.
    • No base or intermediate coats necessary. Apply in a single layer.
    • Shrinkage compensators reduce/remove cracking.
    • Elevated alkalinity prevents mold and bacterial growth.
    • Bonds to wood, concrete, masonry and just about everything except plastic or galvanizing.
    • Wicks water from wood elements.
    • Can be colored.
    • Green Technology containing absolutely no portland.

RECOMMENDED USES

• Replaces standard stucco materials in their entirety.
• Protect existing or new masonry.
Stops efflorescence.
• Fire protection over/under wood, concrete, and other materials in danger zones.
• Insulates with an R-Value of approximately 8 per inch.
• Interior plaster applications and texturing.

Packaging, Shelf Life Coverage

  • Supplied in 50-pound bags or super sacks.
  • Shelf life is approximately 2 years if properly stored in a humidity-controlled environment.
  • At a 1/2-inch depth (12.5 mm), one bag will cover 13.2 square feet (1.22 square meters).

Directions for Use

• Wood Preparation – Prepare the surface of wood by removing any dirt, debris, or incompatible coatings. Wood should be dry.
• Concrete/Masonry Preparation – Prepare the surface of Portland materials by removing any dirt, debris, or incompatible coatings. Surface should be moist.
• Using a paddle type mixer, combine approximately 1.78 gallons of water per 55-lb bag and mix for between 2 to 4 minutes. Using a hawk and trowel, apply stucco to any convenient thickness by pressing the stucco into the surface. Smooth or texture within 30 minutes.
• For spray applications, use rotor-stator, piston, or squeeze pumps with air projected at the nozzle. Use approximately 1.78 gallons of water per 55-lb bag and mix for between 2 to 4 minutes. Spray to desired thickness and smooth or texture within 30 minutes.
• Seal with Fusion Bond sealant or water-resistant paint no sooner than 4 days after application in warm weather with average daily mean temperatures above 75°F, or 7 days in cooler weather.
